Rock Hall of Fame Nominees announced

This week the new group of nomimees were announced for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Maybe we should come up with a "Love Song - Hall of Fame"..hmmmm...stay tuned :)

This years nine Rock HOF Nominees include Run DMC (remember "Walk this Way" with Aerosmith), Metallica (heavy metal stadium rockers from LA) and famous guitarist Jeff Beck. Other nominees this year are singer Wanda Jackson, Little Anthony and the Imperials, War, Bobby Womack, and disco and R&B group Chic. Definitely wide range of musical styles represented although we need to check our love song list vs. the current Hall of Fame to see who's missing. The five leading vote-getters will be announced in January and inducted April 4 in Cleveland.

Next Wednesday Oct 1st is our launch date for our LoveSongs.com Daily Poll and Weekly Trivia question at LoveSongs.com and we'll also be introducing a wider page layout as well. Before October is over we'll have a greatly expended Wedding Song selection and many other updates as change is a flowin'.

LoveSongs.com - We're 10 Days old....again!

Thanks to all the folks who've written in to welcome us back. LoveSongs.com has been back online for 10 days and it feels so good! As promised we are moving forward with some fun new content. Here's whats on deck for October:

1) Daily Voting Poll - Each day we'll feature a fun new music-related poll where you can tell the world what you think.

2) Weekly Trivia - Yes that mindless trivia that fascinates us all...we'll be posting some new interesting facts each week.

3) Wedding Music Update - We'll be updating our wedding music selection and adding some helpful articles for anyone planning a wedding.

To close out this week, our thoughts and prayers go out to the folks down in Texas, Louisiana and other areas hard hit by Hurricane Ike. Anyone reading this who is in a position to help please go directly to the Red Cross site for info.

LoveSongs.com Back Online!

Well it was a very rough summer for me personally but the website is back online and things in my life are getting back on track.
