Wednesday's Tune - "Halfway Gone" by Lifehouse

Lifehouse burst on the scene with the tune "Hanging by a Moment" back in 2001 which I thought was pretty good and it went all the way to #2 on the Billboard Top 40 chart. Since then they have had several singles on the charts including "You and Me" (#5) and "Whatever It Takes" (#23). But their new song "Halfway Gone" really grabbed my attention from the first haunting oooohhhh that kicks off the song. The verse builds perfectly and the chorus delivers like nobodies business. If you like a strong pop song take a listen to "Halfway Gone" and you won't be disappointed (#79 on Billboard chart and climbing!!!)

American Idol - Missed Wed nite will check out the recaps

I caught Tuesday nites show from Chicago the windy city and overall I was less than impressed..nothing really great and nothing really interesting. Hopefully the show tonight from Orlando was much better. I still have "Pants on the Ground" from last week and the unforgettable Skibolski both from the Boston auditions (I think :)). On top of that some of the singers last week were really really good. I'll check out the recaps from Orlando and include some thoughts on my Thursday post tomorrow.

Almost didn't make my Wednesday post in time its 11:22 PM EST and counting...16 days straight for our Daily Blog don't wanna start missing it now. Will be back tomorrow with another cool song and some more music fun!
